From today, visiting Bobbio is an even more dynamic and engaging experience, thanks to the Bobbio Mon Amour app, a digital guide to visiting the village.

You can get informations, make visits with free or recommended tours, choose what to see, where to go and in how long.

Your smartphone or tablet, turn into a guide tool that will lead you to discover the beauty of Bobbio, thanks to augmented reality, virtual reality and 3D reconstruction too.

Bobbio Mon Amour accompanies you both inside museums, churches, abbeys and castles, guiding you in the visit and making you discover the special features of these sites, and outside through alleys, squares, courses, to discover the monuments of Bobbio.

Using the app you can learn about the events in the program, also discovering any changes or news in real time.

In addition, you can keep track of your chosen tours and share them on your social profiles, along with news, photos and videos created by you.

You can download the application from stores (Play Store o App Store) or from totems in Bobbio.

The Via degli Abati led the monks of the medieval village of Bobbio to Rome, crossing the Emilian Apennines and the provinces of Piacenza and Parma.

The Via Francigena runs through the heart of the Emilian Apennines and, following the Via Emilia, stops in the historic centre of Piacenza and the province of Parma.

An ancient diversions of the Via Francigena, the Via di Linari starts from Fidenza (PR) and crosses the Lagastrello Pass (Parma Apennines) to reach Tuscany.

An emotional journey to discover Emilia: an evocative location and movies set.

From the streets of the historic centres of Parma and Piacenza, location of famous productions by Emilian directors such as Bernardo Bertolucci and Giorgio Leopardi, to the quiet hilly landscapes overlooked by the imposing castles of Torrechiara and Castell Arquato, both sets for masterpieces such as Ladyhawke.

It will be magical to immerse yourself in the "Mondo Piccolo" of Giovannino Guareschi, witness of the adventures of Don Camillo and Peppone, and to discover the medieval villages of the Bassa, whose evocative atmosphere gives life to characters such as Luciano Ligabue, who pays homage to his land with the film "Radiofreccia" and Antonio Ligabue, the controversial painter, played by Elio Germano in the film directed by Giorgio Diritti "Volevo Nascondermi".

Parma's art, music, food culture and craftsmanship are just a click away from you

Parma Italian Capital of Culture 2020 + 21 revealed itself to the world thanks to the ambitious project with Google Art & Culture.  Four thematic paths related to art, music, food culture and crafts have been created on the platform. There are over 17 thousand images including museums and collections and 30 places digitized with Street View of the city on Google Art & Culture.

Parma has been nominated Italian Capital of Culture for 2020 and 2021, and the arrival of the pandemic has forced the city to rethink its cultural calendar by focusing on new technologies, on the possibility of approaching a wide range of stakeholders through new communication channels . Eighteen months later, Parma has completed an exceptional project and is ready to open its doors to the world thanks to the Digital, a means that goes beyond geographical borders, to celebrate its heritage.
