Duration 3 days / 2 nights

FIRST DAY - Tuesday 31 December 2024
- Arrival in Parma welcomed by the festive atmosphere and Christmas lights. 
- Day at leisure that may include guided tours of the historical centre and main monuments of Parma, Unesco Creative City for Gastronomy and already Italian Capital of Culture. 
- Walk to Piazza Duomo with its imposing mediaeval Cathedral and pink marble Baptistery, a masterpiece by Benedetto Antelami. 
- Then the Monumental Complex of the Pilotta with the surprising, wooden and unique Farnese Theatre, the National Gallery with works by Correggio, Parmigianino, Leonardo and other important artists. 
- Visit the special temporary exhibition Correggio500 for an immersive experience in the wonderful Renaissance frescoes! The exhibition will be open on 29-30-31 December and 2 January. Closed on 1 January. Depending on the days and times available at the time of booking your trip, we will agree on a booking slot for you.
For those who do not wish to book the New Year's Eve Concert on the morning of 1 January: 
h 6.00 p.m. In anticipation of 2025, attend the extraordinary "New Year's Concert - Alla Gioia" with a performance of Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, in the splendid, unique setting of the Auditorium Niccolò Paganini. Conductor Roberto Abbado with the Filarmonica Arturo Toscanini, the Choir of the Teatro Regio di Parma, soprano Veronica Marini, mezzo-soprano Olivia Vote, tenor Julian Hubbard, and bass Luca Tittolo.
h 7.00 p.m., end of the concert.
- Overnight stay in a hotel.

SECOND DAY - Wednesday 1 January 2025 
- Breakfast at the hotel. 
For those who missed the New Year's Concert on the afternoon of 31 December:
- h 11.30 a.m. we welcome in the year 2025 with participation in the extraordinary "New Year's Concert - Alla Gioia" with a performance of Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, in the splendid, unique setting of the Auditorium Niccolò Paganini.
- h 1.00 p.m. approx., end of the concert.
- Light lunch in a restaurant to greet the New Year in the heart of the historic centre.
- Afternoon at leisure to relax and enjoy the city centre or ask for information for alternative proposals! 
Optional:
- h 6.00 p.m. at the magnificent Teatro Regio di Parma, one of the most important opera houses, there will be what has become a tradition for Parma, the New Year's Concert performed by the Filarmonici di Busseto. This concert offers a joyful and enthralling repertoire, performed by musicians mostly from Parma with international renown.
- Free dinner.
- Overnight stay in a hotel.

THIRD DAY - Thursday 2 January 2025
- Breakfast at the hotel.
