Saturday, October 24
Visit to the Labirinto della Masone, the world’s largest bamboo maze: 7 hectares and over 200,000 plants, designed by Franco Maria Ricci. The path leads to the monumental square at the center of the maze.
Lunch break in the village.
Following that, a guided tour of Rocca Sanvitale, a 13th-century castle with a moat, drawbridge, and crenellated towers. Inside is the Chamber of Diana and Actaeon, frescoed by Parmigianino.

Sunday, October 25
10:00 a.m. – Parma City Tour: a guided walking tour of about 2 hours through the historic center of Parma. The tour will include visits to the Cathedral, the Antelami Baptistery, the Farnese Theater, the Regio Theater, and the Camera di San Paolo, with a tasting of local specialties.
Lunch on your own.
3:00 p.m. – Meet in Colorno for a visit to the Historic Gardens of the Royal Palace, where the fall foliage colors the paths and ponds. Duration: about one hour.
4:15 p.m. – Hike, with the option to rent e-bikes (upon request, priced separately), along the bike and pedestrian path that runs from Colorno to Mezzani, skirting the banks of the Po River. Stop at the Po Aquarium, located within the Parma Morta Nature Reserve, which houses the river’s native fish species—carp, tench, pike, sturgeon, and crayfish—in a typical farmhouse in the floodplain.
End the day with a scenic stop at the Mezzani River Port, perfect for sunset.
