In 1968, in the small village of Saliceto di Cadeo, the land of Verdi, the Crenna couple opened the Lanterna Rossa Restaurant, based in the old Osteria owned by the family of Maria Luigia Uttini, mother of the famous composer Giuseppe Verdi.
In 1980, the restaurant changed location, expanded and now has the possibility of welcoming its customers in large indoor spaces and an elegant summer dehors, with a playground for children.
Today the location is ideal for ceremonies, events and weddings.
The proposed menu is based on fresh fish, with total respect for the seasonality of the products and Piacenza's culinary tradition; simple dishes but of exceptional quality thanks to the careful selection of raw materials.
Together with an excellent and varied choice of wines, the meal ends with extraordinary desserts, prepared with passion and dedication.
