The Baita d’oro is located 1000 meters high on a promontory bordering the Tosco Emiliano National Park, we are only 6 km from Castelnovo né Monti, the center of our mountain and less than an hour from Reggio Emilia.
The restaurant offers a splendid view of the famous Pietra di Bismantova and is the starting point for numerous excursions on the Reggio Apennines, and we are also just 3 km away from the Cerwood Adventure Park, the largest in Italy.
Traditional home cooking, hospitality, professionalism and courtesy are the main characteristics that distinguish the restaurant, managed by the Corbelli family.
The restaurant has a wide choice of courses, the main specialties are mushrooms and truffles during their season and traditional dishes all rigorously homemade.
Several dishes based on mushrooms, from classic tagliatelle to egg salad, from fried or grilled porcini to porcini mushroom soup, up to gnocchi with black or white truffles, to pass to the many types of Tortelli, risotto with ossibuchi, pasta and beans, potato-crusted river trout, game and other specialties to discover.
High strength is also the grilled meat with ribs and Florentine steaks from our Apennines with rigorous Dry Age aging.
The desserts, like the pasta, are all strictly handmade.

The restaurant has a large dining room suitable for receptions, communions, confirmations, dinners or family lunches, work lunches and banquets, a more reserved room for intimate dinners, a panoramic veranda and a conference room equipped for every need.
