Active since 1985 with regard to wine production and since 1988 for the farm activity, limited to cooking only, La Tosa is now the oldest farmhouse in the province of Piacenza.
The traditional cuisine and the exclusive use of own products and of farms of the province characterize it.
Equally, the search for quality and territorial personality and respect for natural balances have characterized for thirty-five years the wine activity, starting from the type of viticulture practiced, certified organic, and from the wines produced, mostly firm, structured and particularly long-lived. La Tosa, along with the most important awards from the Italian Wine Guides obtained over the years, has been awarded the Slow Food Snail by the Slow Wine Guide.
Finally, the farm houses the only private museum of vine and wine of Emilia-Romagna, based on a collection of hundreds of objects on the theme with a particular multimedia set-up and educational and children's sections, and on a collection of ancient books and ancient wine-themed documents collected in a library.
The farm La Tosa is located in La Tosa, Vigolzone (PC), on the hill, surrounded by woods and vineyards, a five-minute drive from Grazzano Visconti.
