The Castello di Contignaco once again hosts a special treasure hunt for the whole family, designed for both children and adults, so everyone can learn while having fun and share a playful moment combining culture and carefree enjoyment.

The main route of the treasure hunt will lead participants to rediscover some of the most beloved fairy tales that have nourished the collective imagination for centuries and enchanted countless generations of children. Alongside the tales, players will encounter stages inspired by Dante Alighieri and his masterpiece, the Divine Comedy: the monsters of the first canticle, the Inferno, will be presented in a playful and entertaining way. During the Palm Sunday weekend and the Easter holidays, the hunt will also feature Easter eggs and bunnies, which must be found in the correct order to continue the game.

Starting from the castle courtyard, children—accompanied by their parents and equipped with maps and a “traveller’s notebook”—will follow a long and mysterious chain of clues leading them to discover numerous Renaissance stories scattered along a winding route. The path extends alongside the remains of the castle’s second defensive wall and continues into the woodland on the north side of the manor.

With help from the adults, children will need to identify the moral of each tale and recognise the names of the Dantean monsters encountered along the way. Only then will they be able to complete the hunt and reach the sweet final treasure.

The activity is ideal for children aged approximately 4 to 14.
The treasure hunt encourages strong interaction between children and adults, ensuring fun for everyone.
