Reggio Emilia-based Maramotti Collection presents the exhibition of the painting "Instructions: The Whale (2023)" by the American painter Anna Conway (Durango, Colorado, 1973), which recently joined the Maramotti Collection itself.
After the painter’s first exhibition in Europe, which took place in the Maramotti Collection’s Pattern Room in 2016, this intimate new exhibition marks an emblematic stage in Conway’s artistic investigation, launching a series of works (Instructions) that explores the idea of animals and their trainers set against the backdrop of a green screen.
