Duration: 4 days and 3 nights
Valid from Wednesday or Thursday.
Day 1:
- Arrival in the Reggio Emilia Apennines, check-in and relax at the hotel.
- Free time for an excursion to the Pietra di Bismantova, an imposing rock formation located in Castelnovo ne' Monti. (Possibility to rent e-bikes for excursions, supplement on request).
- Return to the hotel; half board service and overnight stay in the Apennines-Reggio Emilia area.
Day 2:
- Breakfast at the hotel/ farmhouse and self-guided transfer to Reggio Emilia.
- Visit to the Dairy of the Red Cow Consortium with final tasting of 3 seasonings of Parmigiano Reggiano PDO.
- Free lunch in the surroundings. (We invite you to visit the historic center of Reggio Emilia).
- Afternoon at the Farm at a Red cow farm with a unique experience: visit to the barn, meeting with the breeders and the opportunity to give milk to the calves in assistance to the local staff.
- Return to the hotel: half board service and overnight stay in the Apennines- Reggio Emilia area.
Day 3:
- Breakfast at the hotel/farmhouse and transfer to Cervarezza on your own.
- Morning at the Cerwood Adventure Park, the first adventure park born in Emilia-Romagna and today the largest in Italy, with the possibility of carrying out adventure trails in the trees (both for adults and children).
- Free lunch (possibility to stop at the Bar Restaurant Locanda in Cerwood).
- Free afternoon in search of the Big Bench with the BBCP Passport! (included in the package).
- Return to the hotel; half board service and overnight stay in the Apennines- Reggio Emilia area.
Day 4:
- Breakfast at the hotel/ farmhouse and check-out.
- Free morning: we recommend you visit the Bianello Oasis, a splendid example of the environment of the lower Emilian Apennines.
- Lunch at the Farmhouse with a set menu (water, coffee and glass of wine included).
- After lunch, free time and opportunity to visit the donkeys in the stables of the Farmhouse and visit the local shop.
- End of our services.
The price includes: 3 nights in a 3-star/ farmhouse in the Reggio Emilia Apennines with half board; visit to the dairy with tasting and visit to the Red Cows farm; entrance to the Cerwood Adventure Park (child fee); lunch at the farmhouse with drinks included; 1 BBCP passport per family.
The price does not include: entrance to Cerwood Adventure Park for 2 adults (possibility to add it on request); e-bike rental; environmental hiking guide service for excursion day 1 and day 4; meals not provided; extras at meals; private transfer, medical and luggage insurance; tourist tax (not present to date); anything not specified under "the price includes".
