Rocca di Valle di Castrignano is a Medieval fortified compound, listed building since 2010.
The remarkable and pleasant landscape that surrounds the complex has been included since 1985 in “Mounts Bosso and Sporno preserved area” and since 2015 in Unesco MAB reserve.
Rocca di Valle di Castrignano unifies art, agriculture and local culture, thanks to the farm that produces Parmigiano-Reggiano; to “La Rocca Agritourism”, provided with accommodation in one of the historical building of the compound; to the direct sales and tasting of Parmigiano-Reggiano 24, 36, 48 and 60 months old, made by the farm; then to cultural activities such as guided tour to the properties, namely to La Rocca and to “Malavilla” museum, to plantations, to the farm and Parmigiano-Reggiano dairy house.
