We are located in Borgo Val di Taro, in the province of Parma, between the Apennines and the sea, in the last strip of Emilian land, at the border between Liguria and Tuscany.
In our woods the mushroom Porcino di Borgotaro IGP grows from late summer to late autumn, expertly cooked according to ancient traditions.
We are situated on the Abbots Way, also known as "Francigena di Montagna", an ancient route that connects Bobbio with Pavia, and Pontremoli, passing through Bardi and Borgo Val di Taro, to reach Rome.
Our rooms, with private bathroom, air conditioning and free Wifi, have natural wooden floors and furnishings in light and naturale tones, made using local materials, with the collaboration of local artisans.
Breakfast is served in the nearby living area.
By feet you can reach the village center with typical shops, restaurants and bars.
Also you can reach the bike path along the Taro river and take some easily and family friends trails through the green valley.
You can organize guided hikes in the mountains and in the woodlands, too.
By car or train you can reach itineraries in just one day to art cities like Parma, to the Castels of the Duchy of Parma and Piacenza, to the seaside in Liguria and Tuscany and on the Apennines mountains.
