The light of the newly risen moon will illuminate our steps as darkness falls
Saturday, January 3, 2026 – 4:30 PM – Rifugio Lagdei
Join us for the first afternoon-evening snowshoe walk of the year, taking us to the high meadows of Monte Tavola. We’ll complete a wide panoramic loop along a trail gradually illuminated by the rising moon.
The full moon will rise just as we set off, slowly climbing above the mountains of Val Parma. We’ll return to the cars and then to the Rifugio in time for dinner (and overnight stay, if desired) or for heading back down the valley.
*If there is no snow, the walk will take place as a regular hike. Snowshoes can be rented at the Rifugio (€7) – please notify the guide when booking.
Duration (including breaks): 2.5–3 hours Maximum elevation gain: 250 m Expected return: around 7:00 PM Difficulty level: moderate hike, suitable also for beginners in good shape and willing to make a bit of effort Requirements: headlamp or flashlight if possible, hat, scarf, gloves, hiking boots and poles, and other essentials for a winter hike
Individual guide fee: €17 adults, €12 children (10–13)
