Guided tour of the museum, excursion and workshop
The visit to the museum is always accompanied by a guide and consists of a journey back in time to discover the ancient sea that covered the Po Valley. The guided tour can also be accompanied by an excursion activity consisting in a walk in the Stirone and Piacenziano Park starting from the MuMAB, or by a laboratory activity, the laboratory changes according to the season and the events scheduled, from microscopic observation of fossils to the exploration and classification of the flora inside the farm.
On Wednesday and Friday afternoons the museum is open and proposes two tour shifts: - 3.00 p.m.: guided tour - 4.30 p.m.: guided tour and workshop for children On Saturdays and Sundays the museum proposes various tour shifts: - 10.00 a.m.: guided tour - 11.30 a.m.: guided tour - 3.00 p.m.: excursion in the Stirone and Piacenziano Park followed by a guided tour - 5.00 p.m.: guided tour followed by a workshop for children. In April, the museum will also be open for Easter, i.e. Sunday 20 April, Easter Monday, i.e. Monday 21 April, and Friday 25 April, for the whole day, with shifts applied on Saturdays and Sundays.

How many teeth are preserved at the MuMAB? Let's find out together with a night-time investigation by torchlight in the museum corridors. What if a shark had lost a tooth right here? But how many other teeth can we find? Were teeth the same 10 million years ago as today? Many questions to be answered accompanied by an expert who will accompany us through the dark museum halls.
WHAT TO BRING: 1. head torch or hand torch for the visit 2. a good dose of courage.
