This guided tour of the Mazzolini Collection Museum in Bobbio (Pc) explores the fascinating theme of masks in 20th century art, through the works of artists such as Giorgio De Chirico, Leonor Fini and Fiorenzo Tomea. A symbol of transformation, enigma and ambiguity, the mask becomes in their works a bridge between reality and imagination, between revealed and concealed identity. We will discover how these artists have interpreted the mask, interweaving tradition and innovation, and the role it plays in the representation of the human, the surreal and the symbolic. A journey through extraordinary works to reflect on the meaning of the face and the essence of appearance.
At the end of the visit, a small tasting of chiacchiere, the traditional carnival cake, will be offered to conclude the experience in a moment of conviviality inspired by the spirit of the festival.

Cost: 12 €.
Limited places. The visit will be activated on reaching a minimum number of participants.
