On the occasion of Valentine’s Day, the Rocca revisits its past, in search of love stories and romantic tales that took place within its walls. The historical figures who once lived in the Rocca will come back to life and recount the loves, passions, and scandals in which they were involved, and of which the palace was a silent witness. The undisputed protagonist of these romantic events was Duchess Maria Amalia of Habsburg, who will accompany visitors through the rooms of the Rocca and the Apartment of Antonio Farnese.
The guided tour in costume will narrate the intimate, non-official biographies of these characters.
On the occasion of this special visit, regular visits to the Rocca will be suspended.
