After the extraordinary openings during the festive period, "Mirabili Prospettive" (Marvelous Perspectives), the initiative that offers a cumulative ticket to climb up to Guercino's dome at Piacenza Cathedral and Pordenone's dome at the Basilica of Santa Maria di Campagna, continues on a regular basis.

The ascent route to Guercino's dome is a fascinating journey through time along the Cathedral's medieval pathways, past winding staircases, corridors and attics, and continuous views of the city and the interior of the church, up to the 27-metre-high loggia of the dome, to admire at close quarters the largest fresco by Guercino.

The ascent to Pordenone's dome can be reached via the 'Artists' Walk', which winds its way through the mighty walls of the Basilica up to a height of 20 metres, to take a closer look at the frescoes of the 16th-century masterpiece, walking along the circular gallery that allows visitors to enjoy evocative 360-degree views of the city panorama.

Both experiences are accessible thanks to the cultural accompaniment of CoolTour's educational service operators, allowing visitors to tackle the routes in complete safety and supported by exciting historical-artistic narratives.

The Ascent to the Guercino Dome can be visited every weekend with three accompanied ascents at 15:00, 16:00 and 17:00, and from Tuesday to Friday by appointment only with a single turn at 15:30.

The Ascent to the Pordenone Dome can be visited every weekend with two accompanied ascents at 16:00 and 17:00.
