During our Tour we will discover the secrets of Parmigiano Reggiano cheese and Prosciutto di Parma, their ancient origins and unparalleled balance of knowledge, man’s passion and nature’s generosity. We will see the production process of the famous cheese in full swing and visit all the processing rooms of the dairy: the production room, the shaping room, the salting room and the fantastic warehouse! The dairy experience will end with a tasting of delicious Parmigiano Reggiano and fresh ricotta. We will reach a Parma Ham Producer by driving through the Parma Hills area, stopping along the way at the foot of the magnificent Castle of Torrechiara to take some photos. During the visit to the plant we will discover the production process of this delicacy, learn about its history, the standards that must be met and fully understand the origins of the unique character of Prosciutto di Parma: its sweetness!
