Treasure Hunt in the Castle: "Fables under the Tree"
‘Family Game’ for all ages: in the Castello degli Aldighieri, ancient fairy tales in search of the most beautiful morals of the Renaissance, Dante's digressions and a special children's make-up session.
Every Saturday and Sunday, until 6 January, at 10.45 a.m. and 3 p.m.
What time of year, if not the Christmas season, is better suited to read to our little ones the narratives of ancient fairy tales that have fascinated and made countless generations of children dream?
The Contignaco Castle is once again proposing a special treasure hunt for the whole family, both the youngest and the oldest, so that everyone can learn while having fun, sharing a good time between culture and light-heartedness. Helped by the older children, they will have to be able to identify the moral of each tale and recognise the name of all the Dantean monsters scattered along the route: only in this way will they be able to conclude the hunt and reach the sweet final treasure!

Magic and Enigmas of the Night
Special guided tour with Escape Castle: a mysterious riddle game with medieval ciphers, Dante's secrets and cryptex. By candlelight at nightfall with a welcome glass, a final prize for all and a tasting of the Castle's wines.
Every Saturday and Sunday, until 6 January, at 11:15, 15:30, 17:30 and 21:00
The now traditional evening event ‘Magic and the Enigmas of the Night’ will be offered in a revamped and enriched format, with new enigmas and new routes. The Escape Castle will be based on some of the most beautiful cantos of Dante Alighieri's Commedia, from Inferno to Paradiso, not forgetting Purgatory of course. Local legends tell of Dante's passage by the Castle of Contignaco, which once belonged to a branch of his family, the Aldighieri (or Alighieri) of Parma: reading Dante in Contignaco will therefore be coloured by some very fascinating hues.
