Treasure Hunt in the Castle
5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20, 26, 27 July.
Starting times: morning 10.45 a.m., afternoon 3 p.m.
‘Game-family’: ancient fairy tales and Dante's digressions
The Contignaco Castle once again proposes a special treasure hunt for all families, both the youngest and the oldest, so that everyone can learn while having fun, sharing a good time between culture and light-heartedness. The main route of the hunt will take participants to rediscover some of the most beautiful fairy tales that have nourished the collective imagination for centuries and made countless generations of children dream. Alongside the fairy tales, the children will encounter some stages inspired by the figure of Dante and his masterpiece, the Divine Comedy: the monsters of the first cantica, the Inferno, will be proposed to them in a playful and entertaining way.

Escape Castle: ‘La Magia e gli Enigmi del Castello’
5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20, 26, 27 July .
Either before or after sunset, Contignaco Castle will open its doors in an extraordinary way, welcoming within the silence of its ancient walls guests who wish to experience the charm of an unprecedented and very special visit. Guests will be greeted by a romantic welcome glass, filled with the bubbles of the white Contignaci Turris, a wine from Pinot grapes produced using ancient methods that enhance the flavour of local tradition (non-alcoholic beverages will of course also be available).
The Escape Castle will be based on some of the most beautiful cantos of Dante Alighieri's Commedia, from Inferno to Paradiso, not forgetting Purgatory of course. Local legends tell, among other things, of Dante's passage at Contignaco Castle, which once belonged to a branch of his family, the Aldighieri (or Alighieri) of Parma: reading Dante in Contignaco is therefore coloured with very fascinating hues.
