The Calanchi Loop

There is no end to discovering unexplored corners of our territory: an evocative loop trail through the hills around Fidenza, from Costamezzana to Pieve di Cusignano.
This unusual loop also allows us to wade across the Parola river a couple of times. A towel will come in handy!
Meeting point: Costamezzana cemetery
Duration: 3 hours (excluding stops)
Length: 9.5 km
Difficulty: medium
Cost: 12.00 € per person, free for children under 10
Minimum age: 6 years
During the route, you will have the opportunity to stop at a trattoria to enjoy a delicious aperitif!
You will need to bring an extra pair of socks for crossing Parola. Alternatively, rock shoes or sandals.

Secret Fidenza - guided tour

A walk to discover the lesser-known places in the city.
It is possible to reconstruct the history of a city by walking through its streets, crossing its squares and observing the buildings that have sprung up along these streets and around these squares.
With a more attentive and curious eye, we will discover little-known corners of the village, details hidden among the buildings and unusual views.
During the walk, there will be no shortage of curious anecdotes and city legends. A special stop on the tour will be the historic Palazzo Omati.

A Cathedral in Colour - activities for children

After listening to the history of Fidenza's iconic building, which has been the guardian of its patron saint's relics for centuries, we will give the Cathedral a contemporary look by creating a new façade with coloured crayons and lots of pieces of paper.
