On the most magical night of the year, the village will turn into a little Bethlehem. The “Rivalta Living Nativity” has become a classic event on the evening of December 24th. You’ll find representatives of ancient trades carefully recreated from studies of customs and traditions: carpenters, poultry sellers, blacksmiths, potters, decorators, weavers, spinners, King Herod’s concubines, and many others, all lit up in the alleyways by torches and firebrands.

New Year's Eve at Rivalta Castle
New Year's Eve with Counts Zanardi Landi: the historic Medieval Village will welcome you within its walls to celebrate the longest night of the year in a unique setting. Sparkling fireworks will light up the sky, culminating in a toast offered by Counts Zanardi Landi in the central square, glowing with Christmas lights.
