Sunday, April 26, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, the country-chic B&B Il Pozzo e la Macina will host the final event in the Art Sundays series.
The afternoon is dedicated to the theme of image reproducibility and the human desire to preserve, share and pass it on. The event combines an art talk with a hands-on workshop. Chiara Palumbo, art historian, will guide participants through the history of image transfer, from woodcut printing to Johannes Gutenberg and the Renaissance. Francesca Pilato, a professional photographer, will discuss the revolution introduced by photography. Participants will also take part in a workshop on image transfer onto wood. The afternoon will be accompanied by a light snack while waiting for the artworks to be completed.
