Ferragosto from Roman ruins to a medieval castle - A journey through 2,500 years of history, on foot.
The day begins at the Roman excavations of Veleia, where a specialist guide opens a story that started with the Ligurians, 2,500 years ago.
From there, a trek through the Apennine hills leads to Castello di Gropparello — medieval towers, dramatic gorges, and centuries of legend.
The evening ends around the table at the Taverna Medievale: antipasto, Asado or cheese board, dessert and drinks included.
A shuttle returns guests to Veleia at close of night.
