Bacedasco Alto, a village nestled in the hills of the Val d’Arda, just a few kilometres from the medieval village of Castell’Arquato, hosts an annual festival in July in honour of one of the signature dishes of traditional Piacenza cuisine: the bortellina!
The Bortellina Festival – Feast of Saint Christina, from Friday 17 to Sunday 19 July 2026, in the churchyard of St Cristina’s Church celebrates local food and DOC wines from the Bacedasco hills.
The food stalls open every evening from 7 pm.
