Among the many accompaniments to typical Piacenza cold cuts, the municipality of Gragnano Trebbiense has registered the recipe for Burtleina (Italianised as Bortellina) from Casaliggio.
The ingredients are few and simple, but the quantities and methods of preparation create a unique product!
Every year, on the first weekend of September, a festival celebrates this product in the small town of Piacenza province. For three evenings, from Saturday to Monday, there are food stands, live music and an orchestra for dancing.
The 2025 edition will be held from 6 to 8 September.
