The exhibition series Sul Guardare, launched in September 2023, concludes at XNL Piacenza, a centre for contemporary art, cinema, theatre and music, with the exhibition Sul Guardare Act IV – Valentina Furian.
The first solo exhibition in an Italian institution of the artist Valentina Furian (Venice, 1989) focuses on the forms of power in the relationship between animal and human being, starting from Mochi’s equestrian sculptures in Piazza Cavalli in Piacenza. With this exhibition, the project “Sul Guardare” opens up to the theme of public art, also establishing a long-distance dialogue with the Civic Museums of Palazzo Farnese.
At the same time as XNL Piacenza is running Out of the Grid. Italian zine 1978-2006. Post-movement pre-internet 3.0.
