The activity promoted by the Ciampi Group in Piacenza has been going on since 1953. Every autumn it proposes the Settimana Organistica Internazionale (International Organ Week), a series of concerts celebrating the organs present in the city's churches.
The 2024 edition will touch the basilica of San Savino, the church of Sant'Anna and the patronal basilica of Sant'Antonino and will be held from 15 September to 3 November.
The collateral contemporary review ‘Giuseppe Zanaboni’ will propose two concerts: the first dedicated to Eleonora Duse, on the centenary of her death, and the second to Girolamo Parabosco and Giacomo Puccini. The concerts will be held respectively in the Sala dei Teatini and at the headquarters of the Ciampi Group at Palazzo Anguissola Cimafava.
