The third appointment of the 'Sul Guardare' project for XNL in Piacenza brings into dialogue the works of Andrea Sala (1976) with some objects brought to light from the deposits of the Cathedral Museum in Piacenza.
A sculptor from Como who works between Italy and Canada, Sala creates works that reflect a strong interest in the culture of design and research on fragile materials such as terracotta and ceramics.
In this exhibition, opened from March 2nd until June 30th, his first solo show, the artist assembles boxes, liturgical garments, containers, cups, and candelabras from the Piacenza museum in a new setting, reversing their perspective and creating a dialogue with a selection of his new ceramic sculptures and drawings made for the occasion.
