At the APE Parma Museum the first retrospective dedicated to Giovanni Chiaramonte (1948-2023): over 400 works that illustrate and celebrate the evolution of one of the most interesting exponents of Italian photography of the last fifty years.
Photography as a measure of the world: a gaze that penetrates things in search of the divine.
The retrospective intends to give voice to the complex artistic experience of Chiaramonte, transmitting to the public his dedication to the knowledge of the world and his total commitment to those who inhabit it.
In his works, the intent to capture the intrinsic order of things and the world is evident, positioning the elements in perspective and within a measured space. Even landscapes do not escape this exploration. Captured with great attention to geometric arrangements, the places he portrays are always profoundly human.
With the same ticket it is possible to visit the whole Museum.
