From 20 September to 19 October 2025, the Verdi Festival returns between Parma and Busseto. For the 25th year, one of the most internationally loved festivals returns, which this year will have Verdi and Shakespeare as its theme and will include three operas, celebratory performances and the rich calendar of Verdi off.
On Saturday 20 September, the festival will open in the festive and widespread spirit of Verdi Off the Verdi Street Parade which, together with singers, dancers and actors, will invade the streets of the historic center of Parma.
In the new edition: Othello with a new staging at the Teatro Regio in Parma scheduled for 26 September, 5, 11, 19 October 2025; Macbeth (1847) with a new production at the Giuseppe Verdi Theater in Busseto scheduled for September 27, 3, 9, 17 October 2025; Falstaff at the Teatro Regio in Parma scheduled for 3, 12, 16 October 2025; at the Teatro Regio in Parma the Verdi Gala on the occasion of Giuseppe Verdi's birthday on 10 October 2025 and the Requiem Mass on 18 October 2025.
