From 10th December 2022 to 26th February 2023, the Monumental Hall of the Gothic Palace in the heart of Piacenza will host an exhibition dedicated to the Egyptians. The exhibition was created in collaboration with the Art and History Museum of Brussels.
The protagonists of the exhibition will be important Egyptian artefacts from the 21st Dynasty (1070 B.C. - 900 B.C.) coming from the famous Deir el Bahari hiding place, owned by the Brussels museum.
Visitors will have the unique opportunity to see expert restorers at work on the ancient sarcophagi during their visit. The exhibition actually includes the installation of the Europa laboratory, a real lab designed and built by the museum specifically for restoration work in public.
