A virtual exhibition is open until September 25th in the former Church of Carmine in Piacenza
a moment of discovery and participation in the work of the archaeologist.
Approach, wonder, amazement at the revelation of a piece of history. These are the elements that will lead the user to live the experience that only the insiders have the privilege to try.
The building of the Former Church of Carmine re-opened in December 2019, after extensive restoration work. Among the findings, the archaeological excavations thanks to which a portion of flooring from the Roman era was found, currently on display at the new Archaeological Museum of Palazzo Farnese.
The location of the artifact in the museum and its close proximity to the original location will allow the user a new experience of discovery thanks to the multimedia technologies available in this church which is currently the seat of the Laboratorio Aperto of Piacenza.
