On the last Sunday of May in the village of Grazzano Visconti, a procession is re-enacted that was held in the 14th century. At that time, Count Giovanni Anguissola hosted Miss Valentina D'Asti, on her way to France to meet her future husband, the Duke of Orleans.
The village was rebuilt in the early twentieth century in Neo-Gothic style under the commission of Giuseppe Visconti di Modrone, who had inherited it. The project is due to the collaboration between Visconti and the architect Alfredo Campanini.
On the day of the parade in each square there is an exciting and involving show: jugglers, musicians, jesters, magicians, archers, medieval games, the soldiers' camps, and the tournament of arms.
