Val Nure, in the province of Piacenza, prized for its unspoiled landscapes, paths through forests and meadows, and small towns that preserve long-standing traditions, is hosting a summer festival of meetings and concerts.
Val Nure Festival “Schegge di Storia(Splinters of History)” originates from Edmund Burke's phrase “He who does not know History is condemned to repeat it.” History is a common thread in the festival, which runs from June 7 to August 23, 2025 in seven of the Val Nure localities: Pontenure, Podenzano, Vigolzone, Ponte Dell'Olio, Bettola, Farini and Ferriere.

Part of the event will involve singer-songwriters, show men and musicians who will accompany the evenings or perform in gardens, villages and castles in the valley, On June 14, Elio will bring the show “The Revaluation of Sadness” to the Antiche Fornaci di Ponte dell'Olio.
