Val Nure, in the province of Piacenza, renowned for its unspoiled landscapes, its trails through woods and meadows, and its small villages that preserve long-standing traditions, hosts a summer festival featuring talks and concerts.
The Val Nure Festival “Schegge di storia” (Fragments of History) takes its inspiration from Edmund Burke’s quote: “Those who do not know history are doomed to repeat it.”
History is the central theme of the festival, which runs from June 11 to October 31, 2026, in nine of the towns in the: Pontenure, Podenzano, Vigolzone, Ponte Dell'Olio, Bettola, Farini and Ferriere.
The festival features a mix of literary discussions with journalists and university professors, as well as events where music takes center stage.
Program available on the official website (IT).
