The Val Tidone Festival, a summer music festival now in its 28th year, kicks off on 7 June in Piacenza.
The events on the programme take place across many of the villages in the valley on the western border of the province of Piacenza, from the plains to the characteristic vineyards of the hills.
The 2026 edition, directed by Livio Bollani, features 17 concerts taking place in villages, towns and small settlements across the Val Tidone, with the opening performances in the city of Piacenza.
Among the headline acts on the programme are: Nada, Rafael Gualazzi, Paolo Jannacci, Danilo Rea and Beppe Servillo, performing as a musician.
