Kicking off June 1 from Piacenza is the Val Tidone Festival, a summer music festival that has reached its 27th edition.
The events on the bill run through many of the localities in the valley on the western border of the province of Piacenza. From the plains to the characteristic hillside vineyards.
The 2025 edition, directed by Livio Bollani, is dedicated to local newspaper editor Donatella Ronconi. The event includes 16 concerts involving villages, municipalities, small towns in the Tidone Valley with the opening performances in the city of Piacenza.
Prominent guests on the bill include Enrico Ruggeri, Ronnie Jones, Antonella Ruggiero, Stochelo Rosenberg, Violante Placido and Sergio Cammariere.
