Colourful gardens, blooming orchards, food stands, plants and compositions of all kinds of colour the villages of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, the banks of the Po River, majestic castles and the cities of art. In Emilia, spring is a great enchanted garden, full of floricultural events to be discovere.

- It is an exciting spectacle to admire the blossoming of the cherry trees. The white blossoms flood the landscape of Villanova sull'Arda (PC) near the Po River with magic, in the countryside that was home to Giuseppe Verdi, who wrote some of his operas at Villa Sant'Agata. On weekends until 7 April 2024 there is the Cherry Blossom Festival with visits to orchards, bicycle tours, good food, music and dancing.
- In the heart of Piacenza, on the other hand, flowers, plants and compositions bloom for Piacenza in Fiore on 13 and 14 April 2024. A flower market will be set up in the splendid Piazza Duomo, Piazza Cavalli and Piazzetta Plebiscito, while shop windows will be decorated in the theme. There are many side events including walks, bicycle rides, workshops and games for children, street food and tastings, DJ sets and guided tours.
- On 20 and 21 April, the 10th edition of "Georgica. Feast of land, water and work in the fields" at Lido Po of Guastalla (RE), the great event celebrating the rural world and biodiversity, with an exhibition-market one step away from the Great River, crafts, meetings, and activies for the whole family.
- In another unique setting, the historic garden of the Reggia di Colorno (PR), the beauty of the 29th edition of "Nel segno del Giglio" ("In the Sign of the Lily"), from 25 to 28 April 2024, a historic market exhibition dedicated to quality gardening, with the best Italian exhibitors of floriculture, garden furniture, equipment for the vegetable garden and outdoor life, artistic handicrafts, and a full programme of events. At the heart of this edition: the theme of metamorphosis in homage to Kafka, and celebrations dedicated to Giacomo Puccini, whose centenary falls, and Giuseppe Verdi.
- On the weekend of Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 April 2024, Interno Verde returns to the city of Parma, the widespread festival that unveils the secret and private gardens hidden in the historic centre. More than 30 of the most evocative gardens open exceptionally to the public. An opportunity to visit them, on foot or by bicycle, and discover the history, events and curiosities about the city and its extraordinary botanical world.
- On the same days, in the hills of Reggio Emilia, in Castellarano (RE), unusual plants and horticultural rarities will be on show for the 9th edition of Borgo Plantarum. There will be many gardening professionals to meet, taking part in lessons and workshops, and in the numerous activities organised in the Borgo Antico Le Viole and in nature.
- Also on 27 and 28 April, the park of Villa Braghieri, an 18th century jewel of Castel San Giovanni (PC), open for guided tours for the occasion, is the setting for Floravilla, a market exhibition of flowers and ornamental, fruit, aromatic and horticultural plants.
- During the first weekend in May, on the 4th and 5th, the garden of Villa Pallavicino in Busseto (PR) will host Ortocolto, the market-fair on floricultural biodiversity with selected botanical varieties, collections of rare plants, organic vegetables and fruit, artisans and artists, and typical local food products. An opportunity also to visit the Salone delle Carrozze and the Renata Tebaldi Museum. 
- A splendid manor house in the Piacenza area open its doors on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 May 2024 to the 8th edition of "I Frutti del Castello" (The Fruits of the Castle - Special Gardens, an exhibition of flowers, plants, furnishings and ideas for your garden) with about 110 exhibitors from all over Italy, who will paint the green areas and courtyards of the Paderna Castle in Pontenure (PC) with buds and scents. There will be a variety of meetings and workshops held by scholars, operators and enthusiasts who safeguard nature's essences and renew its plant heritage. 
-  On 19 May, everyone goes to Caminata, a charming stone village in the municipality of Alta Val Tidone (PC) for Borgo in Fiore, with floral displays, exhibitions and stalls dedicated to flowers, perfumes, food, art, wellness and clothing.
- On 25 and 26 May, the medieval Malaspina Dal Verme Castle, which dominates the beautiful village of Bobbio (PC) from above, is the protagonist of Castello in Fiore. Plants, artistic handicrafts, and traditional local food products create the right atmosphere for a festival dedicated to the beauty of the natural heritage in a wonderful landscape opening onto the Trebbia Valley.
