Two-day tour to discover the culture and the food of Reggio Emilia.
You will learn the secrets of two excellent products: the Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Reggio Emilia, which is aged for at least twelve years in the attics of the acetaie, and the Lambrusco, typical wine of these areas, but now famous all over the world. The visit will end with a tasting of both products.
Lunch in a traditional restaurant. In the afternoon visit the historical center of Reggio Emilia to discover the main monuments and visit the current exhibition of Palazzo Magnani. Dinner in a typical restaurant and overnight at the hotel.
Second day, visit to a dairy to get to know Parmigiano-Reggiano, the King of Cheeses. Lunch in a traditional restaurant.
In the afternoon, the Calatrava Projects Park, with the bridges and the Mediopadana high-speed station of the Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava.
Finally, inevitable, the Maramotti Collection of contemporary art, which completes this urban dialogue between art and architecture.
