"La Casa sul Ponte" (The House on the Bridge) is a Bed & Breakfast located in the "Most beautiful Valley in the world" - as once defined by Ernest Hemingway- the Val Trebbia in the village of Travo, just a few km from the city of Piacenza, Italy.
Here, you can immerse yourself in the nature, culture, gastronomy and oenology that this territory has to offer: breathe, relax and be amazed!
Our house, surrounded by nature, overlooks the Trebbia river and enjoys a view of the Village of Travo, reachable by crossing the ancient bridge in just two minutes on foot, a perfect starting point to reach the most beautiful beaches in the valley, hiking trails towards Pietra Parcellara and Pietra Perduca mountains, and many other places of interest.
It is an old house dating back to the early 20th century with a history waiting to be discovered. The stone is the protagonist, furnished with care and originality, alternating rustic components with modern touches to offer a relaxing and welcoming environment, essential ingredients for your holidays in the Trebbia Valley and an unforgettable stay.
Our B&B is spread over two floors and consists of 5 double and triple rooms equipped with private bathrooms and all comforts; each floor has its own equipped kitchen available to our guests. They enjoy different views of the Trebbia River, the Village of Travo, and the Pietra Perduca, and they are named after the fascinating places that surround us.
The outdoor areas available to our guests include two terraces, a sunbathing area overlooking the Trebbia River, a barbecue area with tables, and manu corners for relaxation immersed in the greenery.
Not to forget: there is direct access (via a small path) to the river beach.
