1. Overnight stay at our Relais
At the Castle of Rivalta, in the most beautiful Emilia, the Counts Zanardi Landi have prepared a special Valentine's Day: the whole of February, an entire month dedicated to lovers. The charm of an ancient castle and its medieval village, to rediscover together wellness, harmony, love. To treat yourself to moments of total well-being amidst infinite timeless beauty.
2. Option guided tour only: Friday 14 February 2025, Saturday 15 February 2025, 7 p.m. Cost 18,00 € p.p.
This is sa tour suitable for all ages, made more interesting and engaging by the presence of evocative scenic elements and the telling of legends and anecdotes about the world of castles, all by candlelight. The visit includes: the façade, the courtyard, the hall, the dining room, the kitchen, the cellars, the dungeons (ground flooe with basement, no lift). It also includes the museum area (dedicated to the Battle of Lepanto, a museum of sacred art and explorations), continues with the bedrooms together with the peculiarities, legends, anectodes and lives of the people who lived there. It continues through an itinerary dedicated to military unifroms, with pictures and captions. It presents various topics related to the world of castles and the Middle Ages in general, from architecture to various aspects of daily life at the time.
3. Candlelight dinner on the evenings of 14-15 February
Valentine's Day 2025 MENU - BISTROT CAFFE' DI RIVALTA at 8.30 p.m. (possibility of booking a separate guided tour of the castle at 7 p.m. for 18,00 € per person): Welcome aperitif, Culaccia flowers with asparagus flan and quartirolo cheese sauce, Tortelli with potatoes and fontina valdostana cheese on strawberry cream, Mango-flavoured turkey fillet, Paris-Brest wild berries.
