In Castell'Arquato, on Monday 02 June, we will celebrate together the Green Day of Emilia-Romagna, with the Arda Green Walk! An experience starting from the marvellous mediaeval village, where precious marine fossils are still embedded in the stones of its monuments, and then descending to the Arda stream, along whose bed, now included in the boundaries of the Stirone and Piacenziano Regional Park, it is still possible to find rich fossiliferous outcrops. You can turn into little budding palaeontologists, searching among the stones and clays for the same ‘niches’ so appreciated by Leonardo da Vinci! An experience open to all, especially designed for families and children aged 6 - 12 years.
