Surrealist artist Max Enrst ideally returns to Vigoleno, where he spent a period as a guest of Princess Maria Ruspoli Gramont in 1933, thanks to an exhibition set up in the Oratorio della Beata Vergine delle Grazie(Oratory of the Blessed Virgin of Graces).
18 prints will be on display at the exhibition Max Ernst. At the Court of the Princess, all taken from ‘Une semaine de bonté’ .
The works will take the spectator back in time to the traditions and customs of the 1920s and 1930s, precisely the period of glory of the court that the Princess had created in the small village of Vigoleno in the hills of the province of Piacenza.
The exhibition will be open to the public from 27 October 2024 to 30 March 2025.
