The 47th Concert Season of La Toscanini will count, until May 2023, fifteen symphonic productions, three of which from the Fe-nomeni series, and six chamber music appointments by Salotto Toscanini. In addition to the appointments with I Concerti della Gazzetta, always very popular with the public: 35 concerts, 15 symphonic programs, 6 chamber lounges, 5 concerts "Toscanini for all", 3 “Phenomena” concerts, and 7 cities of Emilia-Romagna.
Thanks to the end of the distancing measures on stage, the great symphonic scores between the 19th and 20th centuries will once again accompany the masterpieces of Baroque and Classicism: the new season will include some of the most loved pieces of the great repertoire - from Beethoven to Brahms, from Mussorgsky to Berlioz, from Sibelius to Mahler – with particular attention to Sergei Rachmaninov whose 150th anniversary will occur in 2023. Toscanini will also continue to give concrete realization to the concept of a widespread season, bringing its music to other cities of Emilia-Romagna such as Piacenza, Bologna, Reggio Emilia, Modena, Cesena and Lugo. Some concerts will also go beyond regional borders and will see the Arturo Toscanini Philharmonic take the lead in Cremona, at the Arcimboldi Theater in Milan and – again in the Lombard capital – at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory.
