The historic centre of Reggio Emilia is transformed into a large stage of lights, music and a festive atmosphere.
The official start of the festivities will be on Saturday, November 29 in Piazza Prampolini, with the lighting of the big Christmas tree, accompanied by a concert by the "Le Verdi Note dell'Antoniano" choir, which will warm the city.
Streets and squares will be adorned with lights, and Piazza San Prospero will host a market with traditional Christmas little houses. Concerts, choirs, events for children and families, guided tours, and church events will punctuate the festive weeks, until the arrival of the Befana January 6, which will conclude the holidays in a joyful atmosphere of conviviality.
