Three days of pure exploration, from Apennines to the "Great River", with a full immersion in the authentic nature and in the genuine flavours of this fascinating territory.
"From Peaks..."
Day 1:
- Arrival in Reggio Emilia Apennines and check-in.
- Self-guided e-bike excursion to Pietra di Bismantova, a huge and impressive rock formation in Castelnovo ne' Monti. With its 300 metres, it's known for its characteristic "plank" shape and it was a source of inspiration for artists and poets, including Dante Alighieri.
- Return to the hotel; half board and overnight stay in Reggio Emilia Apennines area.
Day2:
- Breakfast in hotel/agritourism and self transfer to Reggio Emilia.
- Visit to the "Vacche Rosse (Red Cows) Consortium's Cheese Factory" with a final tasting of 3 ages of Parmigiano Reggiano PDO.
- Free lunch in the surroundings.
- In the afternoon, trekking between the "Via Matildica del Volto Santo" and "Sentiero Spallanzani" accompanied by a licensed GAE (environmental hiking guide) with a snack stop at a Vacche Rosse Consortium's farm.
- Return to the hotel/agritourism/farm house in Reggio Emilia's Apennines.
- Dinner with set menu and overnight stay.
"...to Po River"
Day 3:
- Boat excursion on the Po River. During the navigation, the guide will tell stories and curiosities anout the Po. During the excursion, disembark on wild beach to totally enjoy the river environment and the special natural surroundings.
- On the beach, lying on top of simple blankets, you can then enjoy a genuine aperitif with your feet in the sand.
- After a moment where you can take souvenir photos, boarding and navigation back to Boretto.

The fee includes: overnight stay in Reggio Emilia Apennines with half board treatment (set menu) for two nights; e-bike excursion to Pietra di Bismantova; visit of the dairy with final tasting; trekking with hiking guide with a snack stop at the farm; guided boat excursion on the Po river and aperitif.
The fee does not include: meals, Reggio Emilia's city centre guided tour, possible bike excursion instead of boat excursion; medical/luggage insurance; tips; anything not specified under "the fee includes".
