In September, Gropparello Castle is open daily, offering guided tours of the castle and lunch at the Bistrot or the Taverna, as well as dinners in the Secret Garden on Fridays, Saturdays, and Mondays.

Every Sunday in September at 10:00 a.m.: Fairy Tale Park with the Grape Festival
Fairytale Park, featuring an enchanting tour of the castle and grape-stomping in the vats, with the option to have lunch at the Bistrot del Castello or the Taverna, or to enjoy your own packed lunch in the Rose Pavilion. All adults will receive a complimentary glass of Colli Piacentini DOC wine. The Fairy Tale Park is a magical woodland surrounding Gropparello Castle, where children experience a real-life fairy tale that fully immerses them, leading them to defend the castle after being enlisted as knights: they will take part in a battle in the woods against ogres and witches, helping the White Knight to repel the Forces of Evil besieging the castle.
Price: children €24.50 – adults €29.00. The activity lasts 7 hours, including a lunch break.

During the Grape Festival, on Saturdays and Sundays in September, we offer an aperitif featuring two outstanding DOC wines from the Colli Piacentini region to choose from: Malvasia Aromatica di Candia DOC Colli Piacentini, available in both sparkling and still versions, and Gutturnio DOC Colli Piacentini, available in both sparkling and still ‘Superiore’ versions. We serve the glass of wine with Piacenza-style cured meats: coppa, pancetta and salami, accompanied by focaccia or gnocco fritto.
