Exhibition Beyond the Clouds + climb to the Guercino and Pordenone domes
The Cupole & Nuvole project links the exhibition Beyond the Clouds with Mirabili Prospettive, the route up to the domes by Guercino and Pordenone.
A single, discounted ticket and a programme of special guided tours for a journey back in time, starting with the discovery of clouds in contemporary art, with a visit to the XNL exhibition Beyond the Clouds, Beyond the Clouds, before ascending to the 17th-century heavens painted by Guercino on the dome of the Cathedral, or to the loggia of the dome featuring Pordenone’s frescoes in the Basilica of Santa Maria di Campagna, with its incredible view of the city.
The initiative runs until the exhibition closes, scheduled for 5 July 2026.
The special guided tours offer evocative itineraries, led by an expert guide, which include a visit to the exhibition at XNL and the ascent to Guercino’s dome in the Duomo.
