Brescello hosts the first edition of Parva Mundi, an event dedicated to the cinematic Mondo Piccolo of the Don Camillo and Peppone films.
This festival invites visitors to dive into the deep roots of a land shaped by the Great River, immersed in the magical atmosphere of the "Bassa del Po,” and to celebrate the iconic characters Peppone and Don Camillo created by Giovannino Guareschi.
Visitors will discover the authentic flavours, biodiversity, craftsmanship, food and wine culture, and traditions of a land rich in history and character. During the days: vintage games, live music, guided tours, workshops and themed talks.
September 20 from 5.30 p.m.: the traditional Blessing of the River Po, featuring the original statue of the Talking Christ.
September 21: the 1946 Elections, a reenactment of the famous scenes from the film "Don Camillo" (1952) depicting the election of Peppone.
