From 17 to 20 September, the fourth edition of the dAS Festival, an event dedicated to dance and choreography, will take place in Piacenza.
The 2026 edition, entitled ‘Tema e variazioni(Theme and Variations)’, focuses on the classics. It explores the duality between history and reinterpretation, as well as the importance of passing on knowledge.
The festival takes place through palaces, courtyards, gardens, theaters and museums in the city of Piacenza, the birthplace of Domenichino da Piacenza. He is considered the first choreographer in the history of Western dance and the author of the first humanistic treatise on dance.
