From September 18 to 21, Piacenza hosts the third edition of dAS Festival, an event dedicated to dance and choreography.
The 2025 edition, entitled “Nuovo Mondo” (New World), focuses on the themes of participation and connection. Many of the events on the programme are based on the direct involvement of the audience through dance, an art form that, through the body, brings us together as a community beyond our differences.
The festival takes place through palaces, courtyards, gardens, theaters and museums in the city of Piacenza, the birthplace of Domenichino da Piacenza. He is considered the first choreographer in the history of Western dance and the author of the first humanistic treatise on dance.
