Every year, the medieval Malaspina Dal Verme Castle, which dominates the town of Bobbio and the beautiful landscape of the Trebbia Valley from above, puts on its festive dress.
On the last weekend of May, Il Castello in Fiore (The Castle in Bloom) is held: a market exhibition of plants, artistic crafts and traditional local food products. A festival of colors, scents and flavors, an opportunity to get together and share two days in serenity and awareness.
The exhibition opens in the space in front of the castle's entrance, and the path unfolds in the up and downs behind the imposing scarp wall.
Between a glance at a particular plant and an artisanal product, one has the opportunity to admire from a privileged place the Apennines of Piacenza in its projection toward Liguria.
The 2026 edition will be held on May 30 and 31.
