With this itinerary you will discover the less touristy part of the city, on the "other side" of the river Parma.
We will start from the Medieval church of Santa Croce and we will walk along the ancient pilgrim road that leads to Rome. Here we will stop to see the ancient first hospital of the town, with its impressive Medieval architecture.
The tour will continue with the visit of other two important Renaissance churches and will end in the beautiful Ducal Park with its elegant French style.
The visit will offer the occasion to talk about famous people from the city of Parma such as Guido Picelli, Filippo Corridoni and most of all the orchestra conductor Arturo Toscanini.
The tour is available daily, at 10 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. and will last 2 hours. Entrances to the churches and the Toscanini Museum are free of charge but subject to their closing days.
The cost is from 70.00 euro, varying according to the number of participants.
