Springtime in Emilia sees the blossoming of floral events, including original exhibitions dedicated to floriculture, events in the setting of castles and historical palaces, workshops and experiential activities on the world of plants and flowers, from the scenery designed by the river Po to the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, and cities of art.
To experience this immersion in essences, flowers, landscapes and aromas, there is Visit Emilia, which takes visitors on a journey through culture, nature and food and wine in the unique and eclectic Land of the Slow Mix in the provinces of Parma, Piacenza and Reggio Emilia.
-The best nurserymen and artisans meet in the beautiful park of the village of Grazzano Visconti (PC), an evocative and fairy-tale neo-Gothic village, for Verde Grazzano, the event dedicated to greenery and creativity, for lovers of the outdoors, nature and gardening, from 22 to 24 September 2023.
-On the last weekend of September 2023 in Guastalla (RE) the Lost Plants and Animals biodiversity festival blooms, at its 26th edition.
-Not a conventional flower exhibition, but an artistic installation designed with 200,000 flowers is Florilegium, a work by British artist Rebecca Louise Law and set up in the Oratory of San Tiburzio in Parma.
